So i've managed to pass my MRCS despite only studying for 2 months. It was more a matter of trying my luck considering it was such a last minute decision. Did not think I would make it through to be honest. Especially after I was asked by my AC what ARDS is and all I could do was laugh because the only thing in my head at that moment was non-cardiogenic pulmonary oedema. I did not even know that the Berlin Criteria for ARDS existed for goodness sake and that they actually revised the definition of ARDS.
Fast forward 2 months later. Exam is over, results are out. I made it!
The countdown on my whiteboard still says 35 days.
I was obviously in denial and could not bring myself to change it every day.
So one goal down in 6 months. From Part A in April to Part B in August. It's done and dusted.
Now to move on to other important things in life apart from work.
