Dinner with SGIA Vice GD

I shall take back what I said about no japanese food in Hobart apart from sushi. Oh my ignorance. That's why I said I need a car. =D Technically there's Orizuru behind Mures but I'm not willing to pay that much for food.

We headed out to Moonah's Kawasemi Japanese Teahouse which is run by one of our soka members! Yummy yummy! I had the Dinner Bento Set and it came with sashimi, sushi, tempura, potato salad etc! It was goooodddddd...!! Gotta wait for Andy to upload the photo of the food.

We then had green tea pancake filled with custard and it came with matcha ice cream too! Om nom nom! Too bad I don't have a picture of this but just imagine a green crepe roll with custard and a scoop of ice cream on the side with green tea sauce drizzled all over.

Drooling yet? ;)

The bento set cost only $18! That's really dirt cheap in Tasmania! I've never eaten at a restaurant without having to fork out more than $20! The dessert was $4.50 but it was well worth it. Did I mention that the owner is Japanese too? That's how authentic it is. Not your dodgy Japanese looking place serving sushi but it is overrun by Chinese people.

Everyone should go try it if they have a car! Seriously good value for money.
