had ECG pract today! and er had a minor scare because of the horrible elevated ST interval right smack in the middle of lead 1. this was taken by al3x. when i showed this to the tutor she was like 'err you're biphasic for lead 111, aVL, and aVF. this is odd. cos i cant seem to find your electrical axis. and your ST interval is a little weird too. do you want to do it again? i'll do it for you this time.'
and this was the second result. still not the best so did it a third time and i think it was still a little elevated but wasn't as bad. i handed it up tgt with my pract sheet so i can only take a photo of it once i get it back. =P
so, any cause of actual concern at this point in time? i dunno! haha but if i'm scared i guess i can go see a doc and bring my ECGs along. we only did the limb leads this time around. maybe when we do the chest leads next wk (or the week after) then we'll see how it goes. haha!
i shouldnt be complaining since and7 had it worse. he was told 'you might want to go see a doctor about this.' HAHA. apparently he had weird deflections. whoops. not good.
advantages of being a medical student eh? free ECGs as many times as you want.
unfortunately mine had terrible baseline wavering. maybe i wasn't relaxed enough. boo.
