im always feeling high at night and have the impulse to blog but whenever i come to this page i feel sian. maybe cos its too troublesome to have to verbalise/pen down my thoughts instead of just thinking through them? or whenever i come here i suddenly feel like i've nothing much to talk about?

anyway.. its been 2 weeks since i've slacked.. and ive not accomplished much.. apart from trying to complete those driving lessons.. i've just watched more movies on dvd and finally baked muffins! haha was trying to bake something with ingredients i already have at home so i found this rather interesting recipe which i alr wondered if i would taste good.. but since i kinda had the ingredients i just gave it a shot. din turn out too bad. at least it was edible. hehhe! and moist.. just not sweet enough and i think there was just too much cheese.

ok so wad did i bake?

apple cheddar muffins. savoury and sweet. erm supposed to be. guess it turned out savoury but not sweet. hehehe!

so the next time im gonna make sth like this.. i think im gonna make apple cinnamon muffins/bread if possible.. though i think bread would be more interesting.. hehehe! cos if im gonna first stew/caramalise the apples with cinnamon i think bread would be more feasible..

supposed to try making strawberry marshmallow cake tmr but then if driving at 1245 so i wouldn be in time for it.. prob wednesday? but i think i MIGHT go back to rg on wed to finish marking those projects.. so now left with asking lbt if he's free on that day.. ok just msged him so i'll see wads his reply.

so if we're going to HK let's go after the 6th! cos my driving test is on the 6th so i can only go after that.. :) i realised how hard it is to organise a BIG group of people cos no one can confirm. guess someone shall have to take charge of this event.. hehehe! guess for now if jessie's gg, the two of us will be the free-est.. let's head to HK!

ok so how do you do parallel parking? this is more for my info than for you to understand. :P

1) position car where curb is almost 1/3 - 1/2 of the bonnet
2) slowly reverse [look out for cars sharing the course!] until the pole in the outer front corner aka pole A touches the third demister line from the top. FULL LOCK LEFT.
3) continue reversing until the base of the back inner pole almost appears in the right mirror and then STRAIGHTEN WHEELS.
4) reverse summore until pole A clears the left mirror and is slowly aligned with the first dot on the wiper. :) the dots depend on the allowance required by the distance from the mirror. use the BIG hole in the wiper if pole is really close to mirror. FULL LOCK RIGHT
5) reverse until u see 1.5 black markers.
6) move forward and adjust the car, making sure its in the middle of the lot and IN the lots by looking at pole B. pole B shouldnt be seen outside the car from the left mirror.


YAY. now we're in the lot. lets get out.


1) inch forward until you see only 3 black markers.
2) put to reverse and FULL LOCK LEFT until you see 1.5 black markers.
3) signal right and then look out for traffic!
4) slowly inch forward and FULL LOCK RIGHT quickly!
5) clear front poles then return and move off.

thinking back, i guess this test really gave them the marks they deserved for the effort they put in. really.

its like those students who put in the extra effort to understand and clarify did well while those who slacked around, played a fool, slept and din do much to help themselves failed. of cos there are a few who shud have passed but failed but it might have been due to carelessness. need to look through the papers to verify this.

maybe this test can act as a wake up call. its quite true i guess. when u realise that the effort you're putting in really isnt enough to even guarantee you a pass, its time u wake up from that little dream of yours. rgs doesnt guarantee you a safe spot in rjc. the teachers can recommend against you going.

but seriously im quite proud of some students. :) u people really make my day. makes me feel like the effort i put in is worth it. i know some people are like hoping that i'll leave asap [har! me too! no more stress!] because they think that the new teacher would be better. maybe. he's better qualified but hopefully u can connect with him. i cant. sry. at least not at this moment/today when i saw him again.

so yeah tmr we'll see tears. both of joy and happiness. guess i'll just sit there and take it all in and feel sorry for those who tried but didnt make it. tried but tried too late. but just rmb that if you try, you will make it someday. some people take the express train while others walk but sooner or later u'll all reach the same destination. some people take detours and take even longer but yeah u'll make it. as long as u dont fall asleep along the way. if not u'll never make it there.

rmb back in rgs. i was never that bright kid. kinda slacked my life away doing nth apart from sleeping in class. guess i paid my price for it. but i rmb trying really hard to do well for physics b4 Os. mugged my ass off for it and got a decent grade i think. nv had luck with physics. went to jc and took physics AGAIN. -groans- struggled like mad after first three months. last in class. climbed my way up painfully. there were days when i felt like giving up but mr chow's understanding and care [though not ur usual type] made me perservere on. there were teachers that i didnt really like but their indifference to me made me want to prove to them more.

i think studying requires motivation. not motivation from rewards cos it wears off after a while. it comes from within. the want to prove your worth. the need to reassure yourself. the exhilaration when you achieve your goals. the pride that consumes you. its this self-motivation that will go a long way.

when u feel weary and tired and feel as if this is going nowhere. take a break. close your eyes and imagine yourself achieving success. the sounds. the sights. the action. make it as realistic as possible and relive it everytime you feel down. this is the key to success.

well well i have marked bout 10 classes of sec 2s alr! :) overall not bad i guess.. though some had got serious misconceptions with regards to indices.. some give me horrible stuff and thus i cannot give them the ecf mark.. aww.. seriously.. even if u make a slight mistake that doesnt compromise the integrity of the qn or do something that totally shows ur confusion.. u can still get like 3 outta 4 la! 0.o

went to vivo crystal jade for granny's bdae lunch! apparently the bill was 900+.. not fantastic either.. really i think it was quite a waste of money. food's so-so nth fantastic.. then we had goodwood park durian cake! yum! hehe that was really nice.. though they said the puffs are better.. nonetheless i ate two slices!

wanted to buy a pair of boots but it costs 219.. :( the one on offer didnt haf heels and it wasnt as nice.. but my aunt bought it so i can always share with her.. it was the last pair!! size 37! hehe.. it was 129 btw..

so after that mum and i went to orchard to look at those shoes again.. cos mum insists that there should be a better bargain somewhere else other than the boutique. hehe so we went to OG first. mum wanted to buy a pair but as usual she didnt. i ended up buying a pair of sunglasses. :) now i look poser? MUAHAHAHX! went over to centrepoint.. then taka to look at the shoes.. din haf.. so we went to kino to look at beading books.. wahlau damn ex! ok maybe thats the avg price but 40+ is a bit too much for beginner books.. decided to check out the prices at the bead stores first.. :) so as we went over to wisma.. we stopped by the face shop and as expected i bought stuff.. muahahahax..

well well well.. its friday again!! :) i love the weekends though i think they come and go really quickly..

this week has been madness for me.. monday i managed to finished the syllabus and i think the entire topic was done at like RA speed or sth.. really rushed.. hopefully they can understand after the remedial.. :S

tues was spent rushing out assignments and FA and marking PTs.. bz bz..

wed and thurs had staff mtg and stayed back on thurs to mark PT though i actually fell asleep after school! gosh i think my seat makes me sleepy at times.. then out comes the handy dand ipod!

fri had invigilation and remedial.. plz remind me to pay me-ek l-in 3.95 for the turkey ham sub plz! :) gosh im bushed. but today went well i think. YAY YAY! =D

yay its a holiday! but its ending soon.. :(
