its less than 4 weeks till i leave for tassie. guess im filled with trepidation yet im really excited about this whole new life i'm going to have over there. there's lots to be learnt and i really hope that i will be able to cope with it. things are looking good so far - know the singaporeans in JFH, know 3 other people in med etc. so woohoo! life's great i guess.

its amazing how far i've come. from not even wanting to do med at first to mediquiz to not getting into nu5 to going to uta5. its been a long arduous journey. at least it is something i want to do. overheard mum telling her friend that if she didn't let me go, if i cant get a good job in future, i might blame her for not sending me over. its not that i couldnt make it but rather i wasn't allowed to go. guess thats true to a certain extent. many times have we made the wrong decision, only to regret it later. sometimes we make the right decision, but still regret it later. the grass is always greener on the other side. even if you're a doc, life would be tough and there will be times you will regret your decision, but at the end of the day, its your passion, i don't think it is a wrong decision but rather just a wrong perspective. would you rather work or lie in the hospital bed? to be able to walk around and wake up to a new day is already a great blessing.

HAHA! i'll upload the pic.. hiak hiak hiak.. but later she relented and came down and sat normally. spent quite long trying to persuade her to come down! sean was like "i shouldnt have opened the boot for her.. ><"

didn't really get to talk to all of them.. now i know wad ruth when she told me bout nat's party. :S im sure her parties are like MUCH bigger. but anw it was nice just seeing familiar faces once more.. :) eh you all must email/fb/msn me k! stupid sia.. 500mb/mth.. nvm go com lab! i'll be a regular face there.. hehe..

with so few weekends left, im still supposed to go out with the medsoc ppl.. s13.. vtoo+yj for our sushi (she tagged me on fb!) >< life's really good. i will seriously miss s13 for all their nonsense. actually i think i enjoyed every part of my life except rgs school life. i loved rgac. i just felt like a nobody there so i didn't enjoy it that much. lower sec life seems like a blur, i dont even talk to any of them now. upper sec still not that bad, still talk to a few occasionally online/msg.

cny's coming! time for angbao and what nots. cookies and family and fun (aka mahjong + blackjack!) then it will mean that its time for me to go. :((
