sat and today was great! i'm starting to love my job! despite the weird people who approach me and the occasional angry passenger (not my fault!), i'm quite glad the people here are nice and approachable! really makes time go by sooo much faster. =D

today was probably the worst disembarkation ever because some people are brainless they just woke up and their brains aren't working. basically two lanes would be open for people to queue for immigration while the last one is for wheelchairs and people to board. so obviously in order NOT to block the passengers' way, i'm on the third lane holding the placard.

so what happened was some intelligent passenger decided that since i'm holding the placard on the third lane, he/she thought that i was beckoning them to come over! so they ALL hopped over the BARRICADE and came towards me! monkey see monkey do, the whole bunch of people came hoarding towards me until the centre staff stationed herself there to stop monkeys from hopping over.

and they still dare to tell me "then why are you standing here?!"

"ERR because if i stand there i'll be blocking you????"





tada! nothing to say. =D



i think its nice when passengers appreciate your help. really really nice. some people just think that they're so much better than you but after a while, your skin grows in thickness so it doesn't matter anymore.

but working closer to the cruise ship means more food! sat we had starbucks-like coffee, chocolate cake, coke, peanuts etc to eat. today we had orange juice, sandwiches etc! hahahah! love doing gangway sia.. =D plus you have people around you to be crazy with so it's awesome!

there was a very funny convo this morning when we saw the breakfast (red bean bun)

S: EH got an pan!
Y: HUH what an pan? an ban have la!
J: an chuang also have! di chuang also got! but that's errr.. something else la..
everyone: HAHAHAHAHHA!

*discussing who to pass the walkie to*
J: eh give to S la! then can radio AN PAN MAN! (we were talking about mian bao chao ren before this and how he is called an pan man!)
S: i'm not an pan man! anyway did you know that he plucks out the bread from his head and gives it to people to eat?
H: HUH then what if pluck until no more left but that part then how to give to girl!
S: please la! only his head is edible. then the baker will bake him a new head! =D
A: EH he wears a red cloak too right?
Y: can eat one ah?
